5:28 pm	I wish I had time to: Develop a cartooning style for Deeply Creepy Make a new web gallery Get a job Get my drivers license Have fun and relax at Renfair for 3 weekends Have a social life Help Elizabeth with her Bumbershoot project in my copious free time But instead I'm going to: Finish moving stuff to the new place Finish unpacking Garage sale (when the FUCK are we going to find time for this?!) Sit at Renfaire, trying to have fun and relax and forget about all the stuff I'm not getting done Help Elizabeth with her Bumbershoot project using time I would have preferred to spend with my friends Also a close friend called me to say that she almost died and ended up in the hospital the other day because she took too much acid or it was bad acid or something. Having already been fed up with the way she abuses herself, I got got mad and hung up. I suppose it would be a good idea to call her up today and talk about it. *sigh* All whining aside, things aren't going too badly right now. I've seized control of some parts of my life that I had felt a victim of before some delightful things have happened in the last few days so I'm feeling pretty good. 9:33 pm	Yay! I like summer now! I've been getting sooo much done! I have my learners permit and I've got out to practice driving 5 times and I've gotten much better at starting a car with a manual transmission. Still not 100% but getting closer. I can start facing up hill if I use the parking break but it's really iffy if I don't. Getting better at turning, though I'm really scared of running into things so I take right turns too wide. I can also go in reverse, shift to second, go over spead bumps and stop at stop signs. And turn on the headlights. Parallel parking is soon to come. Aside from that I just finished making my resume. I might not be able to get a job for the summer, but it will feel good to be ABLE to apply. And now that I've made skills resumes directed at two different jobs, it would be easy to make for for other jobs. I should probably try to get more art stuff done too. Sigh. 8:07 pm	Okay, so it's been forever since I made a proper entry. Why am I now? I'm procrastinating on my painting homework because I just now got home from a 2 1/2 hour painting class at the end of a 10 hour school day. Bah. Quick summary of recent (and not so recent, but in any case not recorded here) events: - still with Michael - worked things out - pot is bad - Tim Curry is my hero - Sisters of Mercy are coming to Seattle in March!!! - school no longer sucks - in fact, it's wonderful - cooking is fun - messes bug me so I clean them up - I LOVE yoga - I don't dislike most heroes in movies just because they're heroes and I get offended if someone tells me otherwise - I dislike most boys and I don't know why - thinking about my mom at 3 am when I can't sleep makes me cry (must fix that) - I have a snake and her name is Urishkagal (she like mice and branches and warm hands) - I swear I will update my website sometime this year - right after I get a drivers license, paint a mural for my mom, live to see the end of this semester, and learn how to make corsets, thus enabling me to make renfair costumes for people I was going to post a pic here but I haven't installed an FTP program yet, so if anyone can link me to a free one, that'd be great, I'm way to fucking tired to go looking.
